My wife and I both participated in choral groups a great deal in our youth, and the Midwestern Music and Arts Camp, at the University of Kansas, was like a second string Interlochen, so she was fortunate to get good directors and to have many of the concerts recorded for limited sale (mainly, of course, to parents). She never learned an instrument particularly well, although she can fool around on some. I took piano, although I am rusty. Both of us listen a lot, and have an extensive collection of recordings.....
