Richard, I think you should analyze that UN report a bit more closely. There was an article the other day, I believe in the Washington Times, that impugned the soft science upon which that report is based. What they did was make an assumption about birth rates that is based upon faulty data from in the 70's or 80's (I forget which), but the reality is that birthrates globally are having a tough time meeting the 2.1% replacement rate necessary to maintain the current population. Don't buy the hype, Richard. It's a propaganda coup aimed at advocating all kinds of new policies like birth control and abortion in developing nations. Regards, Ron
