Greater Israel most certainly is a formal goal. I cannot even fathom the reasoning that would make Menachim Begin responsible for Saddam Hussein I was referring to the bus bomb incident you mentioned. Terrorism against civilians was introduced to the region by Begin & Co. The only reason politics in the Middle East are complex is because we support a hostile Israel, which constantly expands its borders. An example is the annexation of Jerusalem, which is difficult to fit into the "running from the Holocaust" scenario. This is an example of outright hostility toward Christianity and Islam. Tom
