LWIN spunoff from QCOM last year now expanding service aggressively

Yesterday LWIN announced 2 different deals totalling $700m buying phone equipment and services from LU and ERICY to build
mobile phone network, Cricket Communications; also poised to exploit pent up demand for wireless service in emerging markets
like Mexico, Chile, and Russia

LWIN not overshadowed by BEL/VOD story; sees themselves filling a market that hasn't been addressed before, not as the
6-7th carrier in some market

75% of LWIN customers never had wireless before; expanding market and seeing tremendous appreciation for having a simple
service

Volume up when flat rate put in

Needed to restructure cost to make money in the industry; wanted to deliver service to those 85% of people in this country who
would like to have wireless service but were uncertain of it

LWIN changed cost structure and getting more volume

Will be in Nashville before end of year, and a roll out into 25 markets over next couple of years
