<< PRTL mentioned on CNBC as easy takeover candidate. >> Takeover activity in the telecom section has slowed down too much to expect an offer on PRTL anytime soon. In addition, the latest round in the long distance price wars has probably cooled any enthusiasm for LD takeovers. Fortunately, PRTL stands strong on its own merit. ICIX, ICGX, and GSTX all mentioned several times on CNBC as near certain takeover targets. It's a little surprising to investors, I think, but all three are still single. - Jeff
