Surf Receives Investment from Texas Instruments; Opens Door for Wider Range of Software Access Solutions

MAYNARD, Mass. and TERADYON, Israel, Sept. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Surf Communication Solutions Ltd. (Surf), today announced that Texas Instruments Inc. TXN has made an investment in Surf. Specific financial details were not disclosed.
Surf provides open system software products that are embedded into telecommunication systems for flexible and scalable handling of xDSL, high- speed V.90 data modem, fax and voice media streams. Surf markets its products to manufacturers of telephony systems, networking equipment, wireless systems, and electronic consumer goods.
