It is interesting to play Judge Jackson's fact findings 4 to 8 weeks from now. Sets up for some great opportunities in either calls or puts---risky types. I would bet on the calls as most people expect a not so favorable statement from Jackson anyways.
I wonder if people bid up the stock leading up that date and after it. November to January calls--about $15 out of the money might be great plays a few weeks before the decision.
Even with this "event" upcoming, the implied volatility is still pretty low on MSFT options.
I am definately going to put some casino money into options that trade under $1 in the next little while with expirations November and beyond.
I wonder what you or anyone else thinks about this strategy.
