Nothing would make fans in dodger land more happy than wiping out the giants chances. these two always seem to throttle each other when it is least desirable. this would be a fitting end to an otherwise dismal dodger year. one of the beauties of baseball is that the individual game is never out of reach (unlike playoff chances)until the last ball is thrown and out made. the little guy can be the hero with one swing. unfortunately...mxam's chances are running out (with me anyway). the battle cry was that 99 will be our year. 3/4's gone and don't think that this puppy will have the legs to pull it out. no miracle finishes for the home team. they haven't played all year why should we expect any different during this last qtr? regards, RFB
