But is there a easy way to get internet access to multiple computers without paying them extra for multiple IP's? Can this only be done by running Sygate or similar on one of my workstations? I would prefer a separate hardware solution, since internet access doesn't rely on the PC that runs sygate. This solution should meet your requirements. A third method is to get a dedicated firewall/router such as SonicWall, and connect the cable modem to it and it to your LAN. This solution is from the comp.dcom.modems.cable news group.
