Ratan: I saw Diana Ross on TV in a tight fitting black outfit, long shoulder-length hair and all flustered about her experience and wanting to see her children. I had been to many airports and never saw a female passenger body-searched. I assume she was taken to a private room and body-searched by a female security agent in London Heathrow airport. We don't really know what transpired between Diana and the agent. Hand-held scanners will only detect metallic objects. The airport officials were probably looking for nonmetalic contraband, and therefore did the physical search. The celebrities are profiled sometimes. JPR
