CC, I have to relate a recent Dunn & Bradstreet story, as I remember you mentioned that Net Shepherd had done a test of their service with them.

I got a call from Dunn & Bradstreet at the office yesterday, well that certainly peaked my interest. They were just updating their database & wanted an update on our company profile.

I don't know where they culled their information on our company from or who they were doing this research for but I have to tell you of the 20 questions they asked, they had 15 of 20 pieces of data wrong & I had to correct staff names, fax numbers, proper corporate spelling of the company name etc All very basic information & 75% inaccurate.

This must be a huge expense to them & thus their client as we spoke for at least 15 minutes & we are only one company. At that rate it would take a person a full day to complete only 28 companies.

Something is very wrong with the current process to have to do everything twice, get the initial info & then call every company to verify the accuracy of said information. To protect their own credibility, calling the companies is a good thing, especially seeing as the information was totally wrong.

Now as I remember, Net Shepherd could easily play a role in making this process more efficient and considerably cheaper as well.

Appreciate any thoughts on this matter.

Cheers,

Mike
