A related question - Do you favor doing both put and call spreads each month (establishing an up and down expected range for the market) or do you do just one or the other, based on your bullish/bearish market projection for the period? If the latter, what do you use to make your bullish/bearish call?

It seems logical to me that you could cut way back on the times you have to execute your stop loss if you are only on one side of the market, but then again you would have to be reasonably good at it. Thanks again.
