BP, re: <PC makers typically carry little inventory of the expensive parts, which were already in short supply before the earthquake.> How would you interpret that? Did OEM's stock up on "cheap chips", (ie: DRAM's), but not MOBO's, CPU's and chip sets? Look's like an inventory mix unbalance could develop. That could impact demand for parts in inventory.
