Hsinchu Science Park -- home to many of Taiwan's high- technology firms -- has been shut since Tuesday. The normal combined output of companies there is more than NT$2 billion per day, according to the commission. Taiwan Power Co., the state power monopoly, said it restored 80 percent of the park's power today.
