I alluded to this in an earlier post:
Call of the wild
We haven't visited the call of nature and the response since President Clinton emerged from the thicket at golf courses from Arlington to Sydney, Australia. "Bill Clinton, leader of the wee world," blared one Aussie headline above a photograph of our commander adjusting his zipper. In fairness, Mr. Clinton was only doing what comes to golfers naturally. As for the Democratic strategist who brought "zippergate" to the Oval Office, James Carville is another story. "He has no couth," says a limousine chauffeur who idled directly behind Mr. Carville's carriage at a Tuesday night reception for radio host Diane Rehm at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. "He could have gone back inside." Mr. Carville, the chauffeur says, was waiting for his wife, Mary Matalin, to emerge from the gala at around 10:30 p.m., when he strolled to the corner of 17th and E streets NW, glanced around him, then crossed into the Ellipse behind the White House. There, says the chauffeur, the outspoken Democrat irrigated a tree. "He comes back, pulls out some money, hands it to his chauffeur, Mary comes out, they climb in, and speed off into the night." Mr. Carville was unavailable for comment yesterday. washtimes.com
