I have a friend who is visiting Taiwan. He is a retired fab manager. He said the disruption to the fabs is worse than is being reported in the US. He claims they have major problems in the photo and diffusion areas and will require at least a month to get back on line and that would be if they had power, water, etc. I don't understand why diffusion would be such an issue, but the photo area problems make sense. This is third hand info from another friend who spoke with him so please don't flame, just take it for what it is worth.
