Bill, the market looks outright dangerous here...but that is often a good time to buy. however, this time, something is different. it's as if there is a mixture of complacency (no big put buying, dollar volume-wise) and caution (advisors bullish percentage has fallen quite a bit, to the low 40's). and then of course, the market internals continue to deteriorate...but perhaps they are now oversold... i'd expect at least a short covering rally to develop from here, as the bears seem just as nervous as the bulls. regards, hb
