I too have a reporter friend visiting Nantou and Shinchu downtown areas now. His report was similar, but he is not a techie, just a report for a Korean news. I'm so sorry for my Taiwanese friends and their families. TaiChong is such a beautiful place to live and great place for techies. I have more friends in Taiwan than my native country Korea.
