First USA was even having bill collectors calling me up on Sat. and threatening me with blemishing my credit record. As if..., it would take a lot more than that to blemish my credit record. I pay the introductory teaser rate game with all of them, and they continue to mail me new offers.

First USA wasn't the worse. Another never even bothered to give me the teaser rate. I found the real rate at the bottom of the statement. I figure they thought most people wouldn't catch it. And the woman I talked to was real evasive. I refigured the correct rate, told them to get *****, cut up my credit card, and mailed it to them with my last payment. Now this company has "forgiven" my interest charges and wants me back.

Now I'm getting 6.4% from MBNA. They were going to go up to 13% after the intro period but relented to 6.9% after I told them I would pay off the balance. The even raised my line of credit. And MBNA is trying to foist a $25 check fee on me. As if! I'll just get out my scissors.

Now I'm waiting on the 3.9% intro rate for one year from AT &T.

If you ain't stupid, are honest, and stand up for your rights, these intro. rate credit cards are a God Send!!

The sad thing is that poor (and stupid) people are out there being gouged @ 240% by pawnshops and check cashing outlets.
