aj, As for the board and Jerry their early retirement's would cause a bigger jump in the stock price than AMD announcing that they will ship million's of Athlons by year's end. I don't know, who's the heir apparent to Jerry with Raza gone? There isn't any easy way out in an intensely competitive market like the one AMD is in. No nirvanas that I could imagine. Just bringing on an Amelio-like CEO like National (and Apple) did is not enough. Jerry, with all his idiosyncrasies, does know this business well, one would hope. Seems like it's between a rock and a hard place to me, where AMD is at re leadership. Tony
