I invest heavily on stocks which I know has been unduly punished. But I think it will be a good stock to hold for near term. This Y2K issue is still a problem. The smart thing Etrade need to do now is to advertise heavily. Their advertisment is mainly targeted on debasing brokers and telling public that broker is a useless people in the investment transaction. Now they have to change the strategy saying that they are fully Y2K compliant etc., etc., Any dollar they spent on that will be worth spent. The cost of having new customer will be very less and the customer sticking ratio will be high.

Regards

Kumar
