One take on it, is that while DRAM supplies may not be hurt all that bad due to vast inventories built up, chip sets and motherboards are another matter and there is a shortage so no need to buy INTC CPUs. This would also explain why the boxmakers are getting smacked, too. Just take a look at POS2 after the quake.

There is also some controversy about RMBS, that it may be delayed and that the performance gains won't be worth it.

The same crazy effect as fleabay dropping 20% when they go down for a day - a bit excessive since it's not like this is going to last forever, but hey.
