When I imagine Jesus, I too think of the images of my experience, and these are the images I have seen in pictures.

However, I am not sure those pictures are historically accurate. Treating Jesus as an historical figure, I might be imagining an inaccurate picture. Inaccurate not in heart, but in fact. And if it is historically inaccurate, than what does this say about religion... that the facts are ignored in some instances?

If during the holiday season, local institutions that display Christian icons, chruch and such, if they displayed the Jesus that they imagined, which could be a race other than white, would this matter to you?

Just my opinion and thank you for participating in this discussion with me.
