Rock Resources Inc RKR
Shares issued 21,543,508 Sep 22 close $0.17
Thu 23 Sept 99 News Release
Mr. Thomas Kennedy reports
Further news in Stockwatch Aug 6, 1999, and Nov. 17, 1998, the company
confirms that its 40-per-cent acquisition of De La Chevre Noire Ltd. is now
complete. In connection with this, the company has issued 1.75 million
shares to De La Chevre Noire Ltd. at 16 cents per share. The company has
also issued 125,000 shares to Brad Eckenweiller as a finder's fee at 16
cents per share. These shares are subject to a one-year hold period ending
on Sept. 3, 2000.
Rock's agreement with the shareholders of De La Chevre Noire (whose sole
asset is the Coiron copper-gold project in Chile) gives Rock the ability to
acquire up to 100 per cent of the shares of De La Chevre Noire through a
combination of mineral exploration expenditures, cash payments and share
issuances. Further to the Vancouver Stock Exchange's notice dated Sept. 3,
1999, Rock has fulfilled all the necessary requirements under the agreement
and Rock's interest is now vested at 40 per cent. Rock has already
completed a portion of the requirements necessary to achieve a 50-per-cent
vested interest.
Rock is now preparing for the upcoming Discovery drill program.
Rock's management is confident, given the world class potential of the
property, the 100-per-cent interest target and the now vested 40 per cent,
that Rock has the necessary framework to achieve its No. 1 goal, the
discovery of a world-class mineral deposit.
