Rock completes acquisition of De La Chevre Noire interest Rock Resources Inc RKR Shares issued 21,543,508 Sep 22 close $0.17 Thu 23 Sept 99 News Release Mr. Thomas Kennedy reports Further news in Stockwatch Aug 6, 1999, and Nov. 17, 1998, the company confirms that its 40-per-cent acquisition of De La Chevre Noire Ltd. is now complete. In connection with this, the company has issued 1.75 million shares to De La Chevre Noire Ltd. at 16 cents per share. The company has also issued 125,000 shares to Brad Eckenweiller as a finder's fee at 16 cents per share. These shares are subject to a one-year hold period ending on Sept. 3, 2000. Rock's agreement with the shareholders of De La Chevre Noire (whose sole asset is the Coiron copper-gold project in Chile) gives Rock the ability to acquire up to 100 per cent of the shares of De La Chevre Noire through a combination of mineral exploration expenditures, cash payments and share issuances. Further to the Vancouver Stock Exchange's notice dated Sept. 3, 1999, Rock has fulfilled all the necessary requirements under the agreement and Rock's interest is now vested at 40 per cent. Rock has already completed a portion of the requirements necessary to achieve a 50-per-cent vested interest. Rock is now preparing for the upcoming Discovery drill program. Rock's management is confident, given the world class potential of the property, the 100-per-cent interest target and the now vested 40 per cent, that Rock has the necessary framework to achieve its No. 1 goal, the discovery of a world-class mineral deposit.
