Law Cypress Selects Oracle's Internet CRM and ERP
Applications Suite

Integrated Oracle(R) E-Business Applications Chosen Over
Competitors Siebel And PeopleSoft

REDWOOD SHORES, Calif., Sept. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Oracle Corp., the number one
choice for e-business, today announced that Law Cypress, the leading provider of integrated
document management hardware, software and service solutions, has selected Oracle's
100% Internet CRM and ERP e-business applications. Law Cypress selected the full suite
of Oracle® Applications over Siebel's CRM and PeopleSoft's ERP applications because the
company required an integrated and fully functional sales, purchasing and payables system.

Law Cypress began to look for enterprise applications that would enable them to maximize
their channel growth, increase internal efficiencies and streamline the sales process. ''We
needed a system that would enable our sales reps to not only track normal sales activities,
but drill down and find out other issues that impact our relationships with our customers,
like outstanding invoices and support,'' said Nick White, CFO, Law Cypress. ''And, we
needed a flexible ERP system, integrated with CRM, that would allow us not only to put
information in, but more importantly get it out. With our Oracle Applications, we will be
able to make strategic decisions about our business based on solid information.''

Law Cypress will implement Oracle Sales, Oracle Field Sales, and Oracle Web Customers,
to increase sales reach by coordinating sales efforts across different channels including field
sales representatives, resellers, telesales representatives, and electronic commerce.
Additionally, because the CRM applications are integrated with ERP applications, sales
information can flow directly into Law Cypress' ERP systems. This out-of the-box
integration will enable customers to directly configure and place orders, as well as enter,
review and modify service requests and check order status information through Law
Cypress' Web store.

Oracle Financials, Oracle Order Management and Oracle Purchasing will provide Law
Cypress with a single, integrated ERP system to streamline operations and enable more
effective transactions with their supplier. Real-time sales data generated by the system will
help the company manage inventory efficiently by providing timely information on which
products are selling and which are not.

''We needed a completely integrated front and back-office application system to support our
business that could be deployed rapidly,'' said Nick White, CFO, Law Cypress. ''Our
decision was simple because Oracle is the only vendor in this market today with CRM and
ERP applications that integrate out-of-the-box, and that will save us a tremendous amount
of time and money.''
