zack (jules, u can read this too): it is my understanding that the purpose of a forum is to present opinions, no matter what side -- an opinion, whether it is one that provides a positive and cheerful outlook or not.
and when John Hull, who just happens to be in INVESTOR RELATIONS at INTC, states that margins will be HIGHER for the next quarter -- is this not manipulation according to what u say? but i suppose u would not believe this is manipulation as it is positive info, therefore entirely appropriate according to your implied standards. i disagree with him and others in this forum about the financial outlook for the company with revenues being flat for the next quarter and i expect results from MMX, PentPro will not show up until 1997. but that is my opinion, and others may disagree. however, unlike u, i consider opposing views to be expected as well as welcome! i suppose i should consider what others say as being manipulation simply because it opposes my views. but i do not feel that this is the appropriate attitude to take -- i welcome debate, unlike u.
i am NOT trying to manipulate, and i take this as a GREAT INSULT. whatever happened to freedom of speech?
as for your notion that Mo Chips is my "alter ego", this is a totally unfounded accusation on your part. i have no idea who this person is.
as for why my background isn't fully enclosed, it's for confidentiality purposes. according to the terms of my contract i am not allowed to disclose the name of the fund. if u have a problem with that, then i'm afraid there's nothing i can do to help u.
i am trying to express my personal opinion/concerns regarding intc and the semi industry. people having differing opinions is what i believe makes a forum, is it not? apparently, this is not the case here. |
