--OT--Dan, Thanks your thorough response. You might also look at Quantex for your next machine. That's what I'm running, and have been very happy with it. They run basically all-Intel, seem to design their machines to be Dell-comparable, and are a good step below Dell in price. And their customer support has been quite well rated the last couple of years. I'll be buying next spring, and not any earlier if I can hold out. Best, JS
