Chaz -

Havent looked at Symbian (yet)

Phone.com (formally Unwired Planet) offer a browser specifically for cell 'phones.

ARM is the CPU.

Some previous posts look a little misleading regarding what an Operating System does. A complex program, such as a CDMA protocol stack, consists of many co-operating programs known as tasks. OS's manage resources i.e. memory, CPU time and access to peripherals (say a serial link, keyboard, display, etc)on behalf of the tasks, arbitrating between competing needs. For example, Task 1 and Task 2 may both require access to a serial port.

Hope this helps
