RESEARCH ALERT - Oil services Q3 estimates cut

....

Interesting to note that estimates were cut on all the companies mentioned except FLC, where estimates were raised. I hope they aren't setting up FLC for a miss.

Also, I think someone made a partial reference to Goldman putting some companies on the recommended list. Here is the complete reference:

RESEARCH ALERT - Goldman starting the oil drillers

NEW YORK, Sept 23 (Reuters) - Goldman Sachs said on Thursday it initiated coverage of a number of oil drilling companies.

-- In initiating coverage, Goldman said it placed Santa Fe International Corp. (NYSE:SDC - news), Noble Drilling Corp. (NYSE:NE - news), and Global Marine Inc. (NYSE:GLM - news) on its recommended list; Rowan Co Inc. (NYSE:RDC - news), R&B Falcon (NYSE:FLC - news), Marine Drilling Co. Inc (NYSE:MRL - news), and Pride International Inc. (NYSE:PDE - news) were listed as market outperform; Ensco International Inc. (NYSE:ESV - news) and Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. (NYSE:DO - news) were listed as market perform.
