I'm Gordon, not Jeff. You do not need a license(yet, although there is a bill AB 863 in legislative process to do this) to own a handgun, but you do need a license to carry one concealed. I hope that clears it up. You do understand that by accepting a licensing argument you give up your right to the disgression of some faceless, nameless, bureaucracy and this is the right to protect yourself and your family and property.

What about the freedom of the press and freedom to assemble peacefully issue and licensing these rights? Still see no possibility these rights could bring harm and should be licensed.? And as you also avoided... speech (hate speech) what about that?

Do not feel compelled to answer. I know where I stand. Some people never consider these issues and need to educate themselves.
