That's all egotistical psychobabble. Eventually it will be meaningless. In the vastness of time even your impact on the world, no matter how great or small, will be snuffed out. And will you be able to witness how your efforts will have helped guide your future generations? No. If thinking you will be remembered is enough for you when your time comes, that's just dandy. But it isn't life after death.
