Frank, What i don't like about his statements is that it caused a bigger drop in MSFT than some other techs. I don't believe those were his intentions. It was like giving a profit warning--even though it was not. I am happy that he did not single out MSFT and make a negative comment about earnings or growth. I take that part as a positive. Bill Gates used to say that MSFT stock was overvalued years ago. Nobody listened to him. I guess we should do the same and ignore Ballmer's "analysis". Maybe he was trying to knock down internet stocks so MSFT could make some acquisitions. I don't believe his intention was hurt MSFT more than the rest of the techs. I am expecting some clarification from him soon.
