Could be an imbalance because the price got low enough for limit orders to kick in, shorts to cover, or some buy programs to kick in.

The general market appears to be correcting. It could be buyers parking their money in a relatively safe place during the correction. After all, we don't usually go down much from here.

Another possible is that CPQ will become hot when the correction is over. Let's hope this is the real story.

The last thing we need right now is a Friday night announcement.
