Jim, i have to say one thing, i'm rather impressed that Ballmer had the guts to speak the truth...after all his own fortune is suffering from his remark. but maybe he thought it was time to dampen the speculation before it got any more out of hand. Abby's latest official remark was "stocks can indeed go higher from here" and Joey said "the market once again defies logic" (correct) and "the Dow is going to 12,000 minimum by year-end" (probably not correct). obviously they will have to straighten Ballmer out w/regards to his outmoded valuation parameters. it would be a real hoot if his remarks turned out to be the beginning of the end in hindsight....
