Not this year... The leaves here on The Sound are already turning brown and are falling... Last week when Floyd went through it really blew a lot of them off the trees. Not enough water... The trees own defense mechanism is to pull most of the moisture into the trunk, shed their leaves and go dormant when there is a drought. And we're seeing it right now.. It's not as bad north of here... There is a great trip by train going up the Hudson River Valley into the Adirondack Mountains... Now that is a beautiful way to see the foliage.. Let them do the driving..<gg> C
