Take solace folks. On a typical day, MSFT would have hit 100 with a news like
the expedia spin-off, i.e. this is basically tracking stock story with even
better version of it as each piece of MSN gets it's own ipo. Think of it
this way

Expdia : EXPE
carpoint: CRPT
moneycenteral
womencentral
homeadvisor
bizcentral
on and on

each one of them could be these could be several billion in market cap.
That is why msft is spinning bits and pieces.

Ballmer has the right to say his views. So leave him alone. He is a great
president. But for him MSFT wouldn't be where it is today.

Most possibly you will see MSFT back at 94 - 95 by tomorrow.
