As a shareholder, I am very upset. How are they supposed to make money if customers cannot place orders? I don't order books very often, but the last 2 times I have tried to order from B&N, I have not been able to. Last week, the site was excessively slow for THREE days. I finally ordered from Amazon. Tonight, I keep getting all sorts of error messages as I add items to my shopping cart and try to check out (I have tried both IE 5.0 and Netscape 4.5). BNBN might be the laughing stock (pun intended) of the X-Mas season. If they cannot handle customer orders on a Thursday in September, how will they handle orders as we approach Christmas? MJC
