scott... balmer's words are being used as an excuse by the market. if his words were so meaningful and true, then all the holders of any tech position admitted that a terrible charade had been foisted on them and it took the words of one whose personal wealth is dependent on the stock price to reveal it. quarter is ending, positions being moved around, got a little too deep and the machines took over. no more, no less, not ballmer's fault. just gave his opinion and very calculated at that!, no different then gerstner saying "pc is dead"...secret is to read beyond the words at the true intent...
