That development is still in its infancy. Most of the work in that area is based around Intel's multipurpose StrongARM processor.

My wild guess would be that RDRAM would be a nice match with StrongARM because of the set-top-like nature of that processor. I say that because game consoles (i.e. set-top boxes that play games) are going to RDRAM because of its low pin-count and high bandwidth per pin.

the strongarm core that intel, nokia, nintendo, qcom and dozens of other companies are using or starting to use, is a product of armhy. i have mentioned armhy here before.

now, i am not sure how old you are, but i get senior's coffee at mcdonalds and i am certain that kz is a lot older than me.
if he finds out that rambus and armhy royalties are funding my retirement fishing trips, he may suffer....(censored).
