Dan, <If Intel has half the chipset market> My only comment to your long post regards this phrase, which is kind of irrelevant to your main point. I might as well go ahead and correct you anyway. I don't know where you get the idea that Intel has only half of the chipset market. Just about every Slot 1 and Socket 370 PC I've seen comes with an Intel chipset. Via and other chipset competitors do have their own products, but they currently have a very small share of the market. They may make some gains before the end of this year due to recent events (not counting that tragic Taiwan earthquake), but I don't think they'll come close to 50%. Tenchusatsu
