Spectrapoint/CSCO/Motorola win LMDS deal:
HighSpeed.Com Announces LMDS Deal With SpectraPoint Wireless
HighSpeed.Com, a WCA member that owns LMDS licenses in seven Western states, announced that SpectraPoint Wireless will provide point-to-multipoint and point-to-point broadband wireless equipment and network management services. SpectraPoint (www.spectrapoint.com), based in Richardson, TX, is jointly owned by Motorola and Cisco Systems. HighSpeed.Com Chairman and CEO Kyle Mussman said that SpectraPoint's RF, networking and complete end-to-end solution is "the best in class" in his view.
