Stephen - <Intel says worldwide demand for the chips jumped to 240 million units in the latest quarter from 160 million units in the fourth quarter of last year, but said it was still able to meet commitments to customers.>

It seemed to take a while, but the investments Intel has made in FLASH seem poised to pay off.

Also, due to a miscue post I made on the AMD thread, I received some education relative to Intel's FLASH operations, something I have had limited visibility on.

Intel developed their latest .25 FLASH process to be compatible equipment set wise with its .25 logic process, i.e., can be run in the same fab efficiently. This is in fact done in several fabs.

I would think Intel's cost basis for its FLASH operations is somewhat advantageous, due to this scheme.
