Well, the program is still being written..... 'Line drawing' and 'pattern detection' features are on my list of things to consider. Right now, I'm working on making the program accept stock price data from the most number of popular programs that I can. Currently, it reads local data from general format ASCII-Text based price databases, ChartPro, Maximizer, $toktrax, and MetaStock. Actually, these are the only ones I been able to find the data definitions for, but I think that it should cover a vast majority of the users. Watching the range of 'trading channels' is something I've seen and profitted from in 30 or so years of Point and Figuring. They can let you know if the current up or down trend is part of some greater direction or a temporary condition you might be able to profit from eg puts and calls. Thanks for the comments, Ben A
