It would be a shame if people such as Mr. Ballmer were fired or forced to resign for making such candid statements. To deny that PEs are too high for techs is tantamount to burying ones head in the sand.

Mr. Ballmer is calling for a correction in an overvalued sector, nothing more, nothing less. However, there are some who believe in a permanent bull market and ignore the risk or warning signals out there. I chalk this up to inexperience traders, who have never witness a bear market before and are nervous when someone quails their exuberance. I love the bull market, would love to see it continue, but a few blemishes are in order.

BTW, a number of analyst are warning about the overvalued chip sector. Should we give them forty lashes?
