H J -- My prophet says there will be loud whistling from all quarters as we pass the graveyard tomorrow and into early next week. The whistling will take the following form -- "everything is fine, the economy is fine, there is no inflation, earnings are going to be great, the market is undervalued, this is a great buying opportunity, buy the leaders, its a stock pickers market". Each day and night, the smart money will try to sneak a few billion more out of the market. Did you ever look into the eyes of horse that has been spooked -- that will be the trading floor the minute the whistling stops working its magic -- it will happen in a flash -- much like today. There will be the unmasked look of raw fear. This is the kind of market where one minute their is lots of loud happy whistling and the next minute there is terror and free fall.
