Mephistopheles, you can't trust the short position numbers on Canadian stocks to be accurate. Most brokers do not report them as they should. I've noticed that to be the case in many Canadian stocks. I look at the short position data in Canada as something that is completely meaningless as it counts on the brokers to be truthful and complete in their reporting. Guess what? They usually lie.
