Redefine what constitutes a "problem". How many kids are doing dumb or mean things with their parents' guns? I suspect "not many". The media is relying on rare but spectacular aberrant events like Littleton and Paducah to insinuate that Our Youth Is Killing Each Other ... and further a longstanding campaign to demonize the firearm. What is missing from this discussion is a question of HOW MANY kids misusing family guns becomes a "problem". Don't say "one" because that is unrealistic and would suggest boundaries on the sincerity of the question. (Imho don't say "two" either.)
