It actually started yesterday to move, I believe as more and more people read and understood the goodness of the deal the stock started to move. I think the day of the announcement everyone was initially disappointed because it wasn't a US acquisition. As you noted after 3PM--yuk! It was all the way up to 32.40 and ended at 30.85, this is strictly the markets impact, as BigIdea noted in previous post. Frustrating. I hate Sept and Oct's. We ended up .85 on a very bad market day, so you can consider that pretty good.(2.45 would have been better!)
I've been looking at all the various news releases and the deal looks very good. BCE injected another 126M into IFM in this deal. I was always wondering how they could inject money without depleating the public float(only 20M). Starting to see the light! Never was good the bean/pod shuffle, thats why I'm an engineer not an accountant.
