Howard, it's hard to know exactly what Larry's comments mean. Certainly he makes it easy to conclude that he is not being paid what he is owed. That PABN/PRWT is somehow reneging in their payment obligations. If the report of bouncing checks is in fact based on more than just a procedural snafu with changing accounts, then there may be something to this notion of insufficient funds. The nature of the tonked relationship though is interesting to consider. Could it be that we have another NHLT type deal, whereby PABN/PRWT pays tonked for the rights to their product for a certain period of time? For NHLT we know from the NHLT filings that PABN/PRWT paid them about $50,000 and lent them some additional funds for the marketing rights to their products for just a one month period starting this last December. Curiously, I have yet to figure out what value PABN/PRWT received for this "rental" of these rights, other than being able to make a Press Release trumpeting this relationship. Look at how they describe each of these two deals in their announcements of them: Hauppauge, NY- April 13, 1999 –PanAmerican BanCorp, Inc. and Healthwyz, Inc. announced today that they have entered into a joint agreement for the marketing rights to DigiBill . . . Under the terms of the agreement, PanAmerican acquires exclusive rights to market DigiBill in North and South American from Healthwyz. Message 10013994 On December 4, 1998 the Company announced that it has entered into a contract with National Health & Safety for an exclusive marketing and management arrangement for all products. Message 9739235 Maybe this is the standard way that the Healthcorp arm of PABN/PRWT does it's deals.
