Mike, a friend sent me the following comment, which was posted in the Options Investor newsgroup: Qualcomm - Surprise Analysts Meeting? Qualcomm has been flying lately. Market understanding that it is an almost guaranteed gorilla of wireless? TheStreet.Com annouced yesterday that institutions are buying "any they can find" call options on Qualcomm, some fairly out of the money. The rumor I am finding on many messages boards is, AT&T will scarp its TDMA system for CDMA and the most positive - Qualcomm is planning a surprise analysts meeting.
